Casey! Your quote is just perfect. And so true. I am not a depressed person, but on occasion I hit rock bottom...y'know, nothing seems like it is going right.
TerriIt is when I say to myself "Okay, time to sit back and get a grip" - I take a look around - I list the problems - I make a priority list - and then decide on the actions which will get me back up on my feet...THAT'S when I feel the enthusiasm and power of being me again. I get to feel what others do when I help them. Terri helps Terri. Pretty cool. Just as cool if Casey helps Casey like she helps others, or Jane helps Jane like she helps others, or Peg helps Peg like she helps others.....
I just went through this last weekend. Stayed home Friday night, all day Saturday, cocooned in my bedroom. Sunday I came out kicking! It has been a tremendously rewarding week!
