    Hello, other Pepper members,

I am a recent member of the Sassy Pink Peppers, thanks to my friend and founder, Terri.

I have been divorced now a little over two years.  I knew deep inside it was inevitable, but still worried about the impact it would have on my children, even though they are grown.  It was harder for them then I thought it would be.  Possibly, because their father and I had been together for over 28 years.  My parents and siblings were extremely supportive and loving as they have always been.  Fortunately for me, I have been working for several years now, since my children were in school, so I feel pretty independent.   What doesn't break you will definitely make you stronger!  I am a very blessed person, loved by many, and I feel very optimistic about my future.  It can only get better!  I try not to feel sorry for myself, because there are many other women and men out there who have it a lot harder then me and many of you, expecially those with no support at all.  I would love to try some new things, meet some new  people and make new friends ; I just have to work around my work schedule, which can be difficult at times becuase I am a restaunrant manager.  I'm also busy applying for a new job, maining on-line, through Craig's List, LinkedIn and  getting information from friends on job openings.  If any of you know of any job openings, preferably in the administrative , events coordinator,  management fields, ect.. please let me know. I would, obviously prefer a 40 hour week versus a 55-60 week, which I am doing now.   That's just plain NUTS!

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself to the other Peppers, and feel free to leave any messages.  If you know of anyone who wants a date, please feel free to let me know. I'm available!

    Tina,

To be perfectly honest with you, I just kept playing with sites, and then i had to call Terri as I mentioned. So, no, I'm sorry; I know no more then you or Ellen.

    Talk to you later.

    Ann,
Thanks for responding. Ellen and I have been trying to figure out how to work this site and you are the first person I have heard from.
If you can shed any light on how things work, I would appreciate it-a lot.

    Thanks,

    Tina

I LOVE your blog, Ann. I could hear your voice as I read it. It's a gift to write like that. Lucy H. (from high school days) has it too.

I didn't realize that you had all of the financial dealings. You are a woman who kept a chin up during a very difficult time. You never, and still don't, speak poorly of him. Now that I have all of the facts, and look back on the 30+ years since the two of you first met, I see that you took care of "broken wings".

Well, girlie, it's your turn! I've got my ear to the ground and will be looking for a job for you!

Please copy and paste your blog to the message board AND the, oh I was going to say the "Job Seekers" group, but I see that you already did!!! Good going!

If you would like to get involved locally, and as an outlet (because it comes with no pay currently), you can help plan gatherings in St. Louis!!! :)

    Love ya!

    Terri
