    Hello All

    Hey Long Island "girlfriends" 

    I have posted an event on the calendar on the Long Island Group.  All of you that live on the Island please check it out!!!!! Besides just chatting and meeting on here( it is great)  we also need to get OUT and do stuff, for ourselves.  and here's another idea....(this isn't on the calendar, i just thought of it) those of us with kids and without...  here's an idea... we can meet at a park, let the kids play on the playground and we could chat a bit??? What do you all think?

    Hi all 

     

      I am looking for some "friends" that are seperated or divorced who live on long island.  i would like to just chat or meet for a cup of coffee.  I am in the process of a seperation after 19 years of marriage.  I would love to talk with others that have or are going thru the same   Anyone interested please respond!!!!

    I do understand and would love to share my thoughts and experiences if you need me to. I would also be more than happy to just listen, sometimes it really does help to just talk about it. I know everything will eventually get better, you just have to stay positive! I know easier said than done, but do your best. I'm there for you!

    I'm not from Long Island, in fact not even close. But I understand you're going through a hard time right now and I can very much empathize. I'm also going through a breakup right now, have no family except my son, and no friends. The loneliness is hard. If you want to talk, I'm here.

    Hi Maria!



    All of my relatives are from Long Island! You can basically go anywhere - north or south - from Oyster Bay to Point Lookout and find my family!!!



    What can I do to help you set up? And by the way, you are one of many on the island! I'm here 24/7. Call on me for ANYthing!
