    East side? South? West? Where do you want to go?

    Hey, it's me again!

    If you have any suggestions for events (activities or actual locations) for the Indianapolis group, please respond to this blog post or send me a message. I'll be happy to help get the event coordinated and communicated. I think the general feeling is that the group would like a variety of events scheduled throughout the greater Indianapolis area. The south side seems to be well represented, and there seems to be a lot of interest in events that are more centrally located. I need your help, though - where do YOU want to meet? Dinner? Movie? Coffee house? Give me a location, preferred date or day of the week, and I'll do the rest!

    I look forward to hearing hear from each of you soon regarding your fantastic ideas!

    Hi Beth,



    I would be interested in going somewhere to listen to Soft Jazz either for dinner or in the evening.



    Also, Carrabbas Italian Grill has good food and is located in Carmel on Keystone Ave. That location is good for the Northsiders.



    Another suggestion is to do a Saturday or Sunday Brunch at around noon for those of us that like to sleep in on the weekend to catch up on our sleep at either Cheescake Factory or perhaps somwhere else that someone else knows of. Someone I know mentioned that Eagle's Nest downtown used to have a Sunday Brunch with Soft Jazz. I don't know if they still do though!

    Hi Beth,

    It's me again!! I wanted to suggest Cobblestone Restaurant in Zionsville on Main Street on a Friday evening as a place to go before it gets cold. They have outside seating with ambiance and live dinner music. It's very nice.



    Also, across the street is a Bed and Breakfast that has live (usually jazz music on Friday evenings outside and it is not just for guests.



    There is also a new jazz place called The Manhattan that just opened up in Castleton that has live jazz on certain nights of the week. I have not gone there but have heard it is nice.



    The calendar looks too light for Sept! LOL! Anyone open to going to Cobblestone this Friday? My divorce hearing is supposed to take place on Friday but I think we may have settled and hopefully it will be cancelled.

    I think it would be fun to meet at the Cinema Grill on 86th. Another idea is to meet at Eagle Creek for a pitch-in.
