    First time!

Well, this is a first for me! I'm new to SPP and am glad to see  a site filled with women who are in the same place I am in life. I'm getting ready to send my last child out into the world---will be a true empty-nester! This doesn't scare me at all. In fact, I think I'm looking forward to it. A chance to start living my life for me. Though I've never regretted giving my life to my kids for so many years, I'm looking forward to getting it back and doing a little "me" time for a while. Not sure where any dating fits into this--it still scares me to think about doing it. I guess the fear of rejection and trusting myself is still strong (even after almost 5 years.) Still, life is good (most of the time!)
