Well Peppers, my divorce is final!  It was final Aug 15 and I didn't even know it until today!  So I was divorced Saturday when were at Bella Vita!!!  Amazing things happen when you dance barefoot in the sand and then go to put your shoes back on!

Anyone go to Joe's Grill on Thursdays?  I hear the Flying Toasters play there every Thursday.  Anyone interested?

I work for IBM and have access to discounts on new and used IBM/Lenovo computer equipment.  I can pass this on to family and friends.  If you are in the market, let me know and I'll send you the information.  They have great deals on used equipment.  I bought my daughters used laptops for Christmas at about $300 each.  That's cheap for a laptop and they love them!

I told the kids and it went very well.  Their initial reaction was a combination of anger and sadness.  I told them we were staying in the house and their lives wouldn't be that much different than they are now except they'd get to see their Dad more.  They came around pretty quickly and the mood at our house is actually very upbeat and positive.

Also I joined match.com.  Haven't paid yet, just set up a profile.  I just really want to start meeting people, men and women.  Is it too soon?  I have no desire for a relationship or really even a date.  Just to chat and have some friends.  I told myself no dates until the divorce is final.

Soon-to-be ex is looking at houses not too far from me.  That makes me think he is resolving to our situation and thinking rationally about the future of his relationship with his kids.  So I'm happy about that.  He's also leaving for Can****oday with some guy friends!  Guess he's not waiting to move on!  I'm glad, the happier he is, the easier it'll be for me.

My husband and I have been separated for about 2 1/2 months.  The kids know that, obviously.  However, they don't know that it is to be a permanent situation, i.e divorce.  Now that I have filed and plans are in motion, I am going to tell them.  My husband is leaving it up to me since "it's all my fault".  If anyone has any advice for me, please let me know.  I'm planning to talk to them tomorrow or Monday (May 4 or 5).

I'm making progress.  My divorce filing was completed April 30.

The Michael Israel concert was sooo great!!  My favorite painting was the John Lennon, which De's sister bought!  Afterwards we went to Ike and Jonsey's and waited about a half hour in the rain to get in.  It was worth the wait.  We had a blast.  The rain caused my hair to really poof out, but that didn't dampen my spirit at all.  See everybody on Wednesday at the Moon Dog...
