Calling all Peppers! Come to the Moondog Tavern at 4825 E. 96th Street in Indy on Wednesday, 2/18, 6:30-???. It will be a quiet start with a band starting at 8 pm for those who wish to hang out a little longer! We'll be talking about future events and how you can plan events in your own neighborhoods and on nights that work for you! We have almost 200 members, but we rarely see each other due to multiple conflicts. Let's make some friends. Show up on this night and make it happen!
PLEASE RESPOND...
All Indianapolis members - please email me. Let me know what type of events you would attend if they were on a calendar. The past 3 events have had very low attendance, and I am trying to figure out why, but I need your personal feedback to plan something that will draw a crowd!
Your comments are greatly appreciated in advance.
What's your favorite movie, ladies???
It doesn't have to be your favorite movie of all time, but perhaps the best movie you've seen recently. Or both. I think "Someone Like You" with Ashley Judd and Greg Kinnear is a good time - funny, silly, heart-wrenching and funny again. I get a little obsessed at times, so perhaps I relate to it in different ways than others, but it's one of the very few movies I have watched more than twice. And I rarely watch the same film more than once unless it's because I screened it before I let my daughter watch it! I'm looking for some good movies to watch, and I need solid recommendations! I'm anxious to add to my personal library based on your brilliant reviews.
Mark Your Calendars
Greetings, Ladies! Check it out...
September 5, 6-11 pm - Broad Ripple Brew Pub (842 E. 65th Street) - plenty of free parking, casual and affordable. We'll decide on indoor vs. outdoor seating based on the weather that evening!
September 18 - Fireman's Auction at Lulu's on 86th Street. Look for your evite soon!
October 9, 6:30-9 pm - Oktoberfest! at The Rathskeller (401 E. Michigan Street) - free entertainment and a fun vibe! Hopefully, we'll be outdoors in the beer garden.
Feel free to check out the calendar on the Indianapolis North Quad group for lots of other events - everyone's welcome, no matter what part of town you're in. If you're having difficult figuring out the calendar, click on my photo and read my blog. A good number of events are listed there, as well.
Events
Hi Everybody!
I have the August and October Downtown Indy events posted but want to make you aware of the North Quad group which has events open to everyone (in most cases).
At Harry & Izzy's, I noticed that we had a number of women from the Southern quadrant of the city. Perhaps one or more of you would like to set up some gatherings in your area like Tara and Beth! If so, contact me and I'll help you set up your Chapter.
Same goes for the west. Between the three events which I have attended since March, I have met several women from that portion of Indy, too!
Look forward to seeing ALL of you again soon!
Terri
